Baby Prep™ Prenatal Sessions
Welcoming babies into the world is a profound calling, and it has been my privilege to witness the beauty of new life as a maternity nurse.
I have six years of experience as a labour and delivery nurse at St. Paul’s Maternity Centre in Vancouver and vast experience working across Canada as a travel nurse in rural communities. I gained experience as an educator by teaching undergraduate nursing students during their maternity rotations. Additionally, I teach aspiring labour and delivery nurses in the perinatal speciality program.
My career has also allowed me to travel internationally to Haiti, where I trained midwives and provided education to women in rural areas with limited resources. In addition, I attend global health conferences as I believe that every mother and baby worldwide has the right to survive and thrive. My passion for global public health led me to complete two Master’s degrees in this field.
My vision for prenatal education is to provide current and accurate information to families. I use practical examples to promote an understanding of the realities of this life-changing event. I strive to be an open and honest educator who will work alongside parents and listen to their concerns. It truly is an honour for me to be a part of your journey into parenthood.
I am based in Vancouver and spend most of my free time doing outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, and camping.
