Farah Jetha R.N., M.S.N.

Maternity nursing has been my passion since the beginning of my nursing career. Through my experience as a Labour and Delivery nurse, a prenatal teacher at BC Women’s Hospital and a Public Health nurse on the North Shore, I have had the privilege of working with families during all the phases of their childbearing experiences. Being with families through all stages of pregnancy from Labour and Delivery to postnatal up to the first days at home is a great honour. Teaching maternity nursing to students in various hospitals in the Lower Mainland for the last 15 years allows me the knowledge and expertise to provide current and reliable information regarding the childbearing process to families.

Being a mother of a nine-year-old, I also bring with me my personal experience of giving birth and raising a child. I live with my husband and son in Cloverdale, BC. One of my favourite things to do is spend uninterrupted time with my family walking on a trail or on the beach!
